FRAMING

Paintings are priced to include framing if appropriate as chosen by the artist. Typical examples of frames used are shown below. For paintings around 50cm x 50cm and above, a wooden float style frame is used, typically painted white or just waxed. For smaller works or for panels, the ‘St Ives’ style moulding is used which is painted white. For paintings on deep stretched canvas the edges are often simply painted and left unframed.

Alternative framing can be arranged at extra cost.
